Alright folks,

Planning on doing a full bush kit and i am thinking of other stuff to replace while the car is off the road and up in the air!

What im thinking so far:

  • OEM Top ball joint and arm (dont trust aftermarket camber kits)
  • OEM lower ball joint (Dont see the need for Buddyclub roll centre adjusters)
  • OEM Track Rod End

These have never been replaced and i think they are pretty worn and worth a change!

Any comments on the above or additional things to look at? :nice:

Cheers :p

I have some hard race upper arm bushes new but never used for sale if your interested?

Anti roll bar bushes, engine mounts, gear linkage bushes...

Just OEM drop links mate.

Could clean up all the suspension arms with some hammerite or something whilst your in the arches.

Braided brake lines whilst everything is off?
Or you thinking just suspension system ATM?

Mainly just suspension parts, brakes again are a future plan!

Dont see the point fitting some bushes and 2 months down the line its back up for a ball joint or something! I like to know its mechanically sound so replacing the vulnerable parts that may have past their best is a start....as for cleaning it all up, thats a natural habbit :nice:

Just good to see all the parts that people suggest to get a good complete list of things to consider :run:

Is the full bush kit poly or OEM? If it's poly, don't use the rear trailing arm bushes that come with the kit, they don't allow movement thats needed in the trailing arm.
