ight!

looking to turbo my b16a2! my budget at the mo will be about £4000!
im looking for the best kit for stock b16a2 internals! i see the edelbrock performer x kit is a very good kit! whats the garrett gt28rs like? whats the max efficiency of the turbo? the most hp it can put out?? when does it start to spool and whens it at full boost??

anouther kit is the Drag gen 3 turbo kit!! and anouther is the Rev hard stage 2 turbo kit!

which kit would you recomend? its a daily driven vehicle! and looking for around 250 whp!!!!! but will more than likely want more down the line when i have more money for forged internals etc

thanks alot

GT28rs is excellent, some have called it the ultimate street turbo, its one of the fastest spooling turbo's that still hold power up to the top of the rpm range, its pretty maxed at 15-18psi but is usually making 325-350whp at that level, some have pushed it to 20+psi making 385whp but the turbo life is quickly diminished when pushing it that hard. full boost comes on early, don't worry about that part.

drag and revhard are the crappiest kits on the market, revhard being the worse STAY AWAY!! If all you want is 250whp the Edelbrock kit will give you that at about 6-7psi!! later if you want more power you still have room up to 350whp. The edelbrock is a great kit and comes with some of the best parts in the industry.

Send 'EK9Turbo' a PM, he has a 400bhp EK9 turbo running a B16A2, sure he will have some good advice! :nice:

ite cheers edelbrock it is!!:nice:

is that kit just a straight bolt on?
so could i fit that kit myself? and how does the edelbrock pretuned ecu thing work? does it just plug in or what?

just to be clear there will be no tuning needed once all is fitted to the car? just fit the kit properly and drive!!!!?

cheers

correct, bolt on parts and drive :nice: realistically it may take you 8-12 hours so about 1-2 days, usually something 2 friends can do on a weekend if they have some tools and can follow directions :nice:
