Hi everyone, like the title say, what wheels in 15" and 4x100 pcd clear the dc2 spec 98 calipers without needing to use spacers?????

I'll post here a list of what wheels I need to know if they fit or not, but if you hve any others please feel free to post your specs :) I saw a very onformative thread for what wheels fit with spoon calipers, maybe we can make this one something like that but for dc2 calipers ;)

I've a del sol vti and my brake setup are 1" brake master cylinder and servo, dc2 spec 98 calipers front and rear, hel blue braided brake lines, ferodo ds2500 pads and 282mm powerslot disks up front..... I keep the oem del sol pcd so unfortunately I can't use the oem dc2 ukdm wheels..........

Now for the wheel list, hope you can help me.... If it needs to trim the calipers to fit the wheels please tell it together with the wheel specs (width and offset, cause pcd and diameter that need to be 15" and 4x100), cause here in Portugal we don't have a lot of wheel choices, we just have rota and japan racing, all the japanese brands if we want them we need to order them, not a big deal if using oem brakes but for us that like to run better brakes it's a bit of a gamble to order some wheels and them they arrive and don't fit lol

- Gab sports (the only authentic japanese wheels that I see for sale here in this moment)
- oem eg6 fat five
- volk te37v
- ssr professor sp1
- ssr type c
- gram lights 57d
- desmond regamaster
- enkei rpf01

If you have info about any replica please chare with me your specs, and if any of this wheels don't fit please tell me now before I get even more in love lol
Here we have some good prices for rota and japan racing, they're replicas but it's better to run one of those brands than run some chinese crappy wheels like the ones that came on my del sol :(
Just a little info, I saw some online shops on the uk selling rotas for around 450\500 pounds the set of 4, here we can buy it for the same 450\500 but in euros and on the actual currency it's quite a big difference, on the other hand authentic wheels are f****** expensive and worst than that are very rare.........

Thank in advance :)

You need to list the specs of the wheels above to be able to know if they will clear 98 spec calipers..

Te37v.. Yes
Ssr professor sp1... Yes
Ssr type C... Maybe, 6.5jj probably need caliper filed down. 7jj yes would clear
Gram lights 57d... Yes
Regamaster... Need caliper filed down a small bit
Enkei rpf1... Yes

Loads of other wheels will clear the calipers. If going replica Rota slipstreams have good clearance. Buddyclub P1's have excellent clearance.. The list is endless

i know that I should post the wheel specs, but since I don't have any of them here in Portugal (just the gabs) I left the specs for you tell wich fit and wich don't fit........
But from what you said, almost any of these in 7j or wider will clear the caliper????
I Forget the buddyclub's, my mechanic sell that brand....the old p1 are nice, this new ones on 15" with the arch spokes I don't like very much, and they are a bit on the fat side lol like the work cr kai they wheight too much, both have the same wheigh as the gab sports or even a little more..........

Thanks for your help mate, but specs well the only ones that i can give you are the gabs (only remembre the width that are 6.5j the offset don't remembre correctly) and the oem eg6 wheels.......

I'd personally go with the old style buddyclub p1's.. They would clear bigger calipers than the 98 specs if you change again further down the line and they are a nice wheel

I also like that, better than the new ones, but there aren't any for sale here, well at least there are no one that I knew about......
And about the gab's any if they fit????? They are 15x6,5j

I remember that to fit dc2 brakes with eg6 stock wheels you need a spacer

Can you tell me that the Japan Racing JR6 wheels fit without spacers? Or not? (the ek4 wheels fit without spacers)
