what wiring loom?

i am doing an engine conversion on a ej9 (1998). i am taking the engine out of my damaged em1 facelift. the engine was mapped by henry roy and he provided me with an ecu so i want to put my ecu in the ej9. the ecu has an adapter harness on it. i presume this is because its a pre facelift ecu? so what i am asking is what engine loom do i need? do i get a pre facelift ek9 engine loom and take the adapter off and my internal wiring will plug in with the harness off and so will the loom?
sorry for the confusion but i need to get this done and do not want to buy the wrong thing!

your car is prefacelift you will need obd2a prefacelift ek4/ek9 engine loom
