wheel arch liner issue

hi there just wondered if anyone out there has experienced and resolved the problem i have,basically i had to remove a couple of plastic clips and release the front half of the plastic wheel arch liner to remove the resonator box to fit my new intake,i put the liner back on how it was before with all the correct clips and now it doesn't sit very flush or tight to the wheel arch anymore,im wondering if mayby some new push in clips from honda might help this issue???
 
mine was like this when i got it,, just fitted new clips and bent the tabs up a bit in teh wing that the clips fit too whilst installing them and now all is fine and dandy

well ive got the new clips on order so ill try bending the tabs up abit when i fit them,cheers buddy:nice:
 
just go easy ish as it may be possible to crack teh paint on teh edge if you bend too far
