2. Where can I purchase new ones (assuming they aren't the same - nuts)

Wheel nuts can only be bought in the uk and lugs can only be bought it the US there's no difference just what different people call them

If you are going to be swapping wheels on and off a lot for whatever use, avoid aluminium nuts
