Hi!

I just bought an EJ9 and was wondering which one brake caliper will plug and play if I replace it?
The front should be 282 or bigger but I don't want bigger wheels than 16"...
I heard good and bad things about OEM stuff, like put on a Accord caliper with it's own disc and pads.
One of my friends has Willwood 300mm and he is very happy with it, but another one said it's ****...
Any opinions, suggestions?

Thanks

First thing is you car a face lift or preface lift. If face lift then ek9 or dc2 front callipers with mg zr 282 disks are good that will fit under 15's this is a vaige idea but look around the forum as there are many threads that expline this.

Yep exactly, most preface ej9's use 242mm discs, meaning you need to change your hubs to 262mm or 282mm to accommodate the bigger calipers. 262mm hubs from say a facelift or VTI etc will accept 282's no problem and 15" and 282mm shouldn't be a problem at all.

It's prefacelift. Basically the point is, if I would like to go to a track (for example Silverstone), the brakes should be enough for 2-3 laps...
I was thinking about Willwood Dynalite 4 pot caliper with BP20 pads, 282 or bigger disc. Some of my friends using this setup, but I'm opened for any other good options...

Wilwood Midilite 4 pot kit, DS2500 pads, 282mm discs and a set of braided hoses. Bang for buck it's hard to beat. Just do a search on here for those who've fitted it and their feedback. 100% positive.

I should be able to sort you out a set too :)

Or save yourself £100 and get a brand new wilwood set :) plus the pads are around 50% cheaper in the same compound!

Does anyone know something about this Rotora 4 pot caliper?

I have a very good offer for this, with 300mm disc.
Opinions?

In my VTi I'm running with NSX NA1 calipers MG ZR Spec R88 and DS2500 @ front and ek9 oem setup in the rear, 1' Master Cylinder and you have a very nice setup
