Guys,

Have the opportunity to get either a mugen twin loop or an apexi n1 catback exhaust both are the same price, i dont really want anything to loud but I am looking into uprating my b16 with cams and the like so I want something that will benefit this. I heard the mugen is very restrictive when tuning so just wanted your opinions?

Out of those 2 I'd go for apexi as the mugen is restrictive compare to other systems, but a lot of systems are loud so it depends what you call loud. I've got a spoon n1 and it's also a loud system, not really idel for long driving everyday imo

The skunk2 is one of the loudest on the market I've got the 76mm rr on mine and it is loud!!!lol

Skunk2 is loud, but they also are great for power. Luke runs a 70mm on his Civic and uses the bung on track.

Running a full skunk2 setup. 70mm straight through, it's loud but putting the bung in helps for long journeys.

The Mugen Twinloop is not loud, the other ones you mentioned are very LOUD

Running a full skunk2 setup. 70mm straight through, it's loud but putting the bung in helps for long journeys.

Have the full 3" rr on mine great for power but if the op is looking something civilised this isn't the one for him, don't want to be running a bung all the time on the road esp if cars mapped without bung

Have you considered going custom?

I agree with above ^

I have had a skunk2 megapower and a buddy club spec 2. Now I have a full custom 2.5" exhaust built exactly how I wanted it and the noise level I wanted. Best choice I have ever made :nice:
