Hey to all the ek9 owners I just recently bought one, Had a levin bzr before this the vtech defently kicks ass over the vvt. My ek9 is pretty much stock I put a j's racing carbon intake on last week and Iridium plugs. I was informed after that I should change my spark plug leads when putting these plugs in So im looking for leads aswell if anyone wants to recommend one. Anyway the next thing I want to get is a cat-back exhaust, Im looking for one that isnt extremely loud and that will give better performance and of coarse louder vtech engage!! what exhaust would you guys recommend and do you know any websites that are resonable to buy off!! Cheers!

I would recommend the mugen one, but it doesn't make a lot of sound when the vtec engages, you should think about the buddy club, spoon n1, or j's racing ( being j's racing the louder)

post photos of your car :)

Cheers rvm I think I might go for the buddy club hope its not to noisy!! will be putting pics up soon

buddyclub is one of the loudest! if you want a loud vtec crossover check out the apexi N1

Has anyone put a Fujitsubo exhaust on there ek9 or seen one on a ek9?

J's is LOUD
Buddyclub is LOUD
Spoon is bearable
Mugen and fujitsubo is similar.(assuming catback only)
The loud exhausts are nice, but a little unbearble on the M-way :)

Thanks for the info! ya id hate a exhaust that would be making alot of noise even at cruising speed. might step away from the idea of buying a buddy club

Hey guys, does anyone have to say anything about the Twister muffler?? I have access to it and some say its even better than the HKS muffler and its more expensive as well. I can buy it new with its silencer for $240. The exhaust pipe diameter is 70 - 80 mm without the silencer. Thanks

i bought all my stuff frm Tokyo Express!! UK... however it took them over 6 months!!!!!! to deliver the items...

recently purchased Mugen intake, Spoon lower arm bar, Spoon engine mounts, Spoon torque damper frm Nengun... besides the price being the lowest ive seen. items where delivered with in a month or so!:nice: :D

btw: for sme reason my Spoon b-pipe had to be modified, as it was around 10cm longer. however i drive ek4, b-pipe was for ek9... might b due to different cat sizes! (donno)

& there is a Spoon b-pipe for sale on the this site a week ago!

No, because I got the info by phone and I don't want to upload a random image from google :nerv:
Anyway, that's my 130mm Kakimoto exhaust $IMAGE0030.JPG.JPG $IMAGE0034.JPG.JPG $IMAGE0036.JPG.JPG which I'm hurrying to throw away cuz its way too loud for daily use!!
Since its impossible to find a Mugen muffler here, I'm going either for a Twister or HKS. I wish I had access to this $5z_proracer_muffler.jpg which is the most gorgeous muffler in my opinion you can find and its not too cheap either, around $300  Its the pro-racer 5Zigen with burnt tip  You can find it with 100mm or 90mm end pipe only
