Which intake - modded ek9 or dc2?

Alright people, i need some advice because i cant decide which intake 2 go for. Iv got a top fuel on the 9 at the moment but i recon it down on power since iv put it on:angry:, but it sounds f-ing awesome! so I'm thinking of putting the 9 intake back on and mod it (take the resonator off etc etc), or should i look for a dc2 intake and mod it 2 fit the 9. The reason I'm asking is that iv got a standard ek9 intake at home or should i fork out £50ish for a dc2 intake? I'm wondering is the dc2 intake that much better than the modded ek9 one, i want 2 get as much bhp as possible and maybe a bit of sound as well:bow: (might be doing a rr next month so don't wont 2 let the Honda side down)

I just installed a dc2 intake on my 9 and dunno if its my imagination but noticed a good difference in response! Haha but the dc2 intake is a really good design, dunno why they didn't use it for the 9...
 
The ITR box houses a larger filter, i would go with that or just route a cold air source to your top fuel intake.

i have been thinking of running a cold air feed 2 the top fuel or putting a different filter on the top fuel with a cold air feed (apollo or twist etc), but i wont 2 go back 2 stock looks:)

Cool:nice: so you noticed a bit of a difference then, think i will have 2 get hold of one:). was it a big job 2 fit, any problems etc, and what rubber/plastic pipe did you use the one out of the ek9 or dc2? or have you had a custom stainless or alloy pipe made up? i know i will have 2 make some brackets so i can fix it 2 the car but that not a problem.
