You mean while the car is moving? Have that in all 3 Honda's, probably protection that you don't put it in 1st when driving 75mph.

what genius would even think about putting a car in first gear at 75mph :confused: its more when the car is stopped it happens, i might have to try 3 or 4 times before it goes in smoothly, my old vti was the same as well :(

Thats weird. And of course I don't shift back to first at 75mph :p But sometimes at 15mph or so.

X2, i have always used LR MTF94 in all my hondas & hondas i have worked on!:nerv:

I have also had this in all my hondas, i find if you lift the clutch & depress it again it goes stright into first!
God know why, i have just got used to it now after 4 years of hondas! lol

thats what i have to do as well, it must be a honda thing :( i thought it might be the synco but i've only changed mine recently, i might change to honda oil to see if that helps
 
I think ur right about d landrover mtf this is the second box to giv up on me n deyv both hand landrover oil, honda mtf nxt time i think, any of you guys know wher il get a 4.7 fd? Wanna change it nw wen iv d box out,

landrovers oil is mtf94 and honda's oil is mtf3 as far as i'm aware.
 
Thats what confused me as theres talk of landrover mtf3 in hee which i presume is mtf94
