just installed aem ems and now after 8krpms if i shift (or even just go into neutral) i hear a very LOUD kesshhhhh (soft k) sound, kinda like a bov but more of a short burst. any ideas on what it could be? here is the set up:
-b16b motor and lsd trans in a 96 civic cx hatch
-6 puck sprung clutch with 8lb flywheel + n1 pulley
-AEM EMS street tune (not complete yet still working on it)
-basic i/h/e internals are stock.
first it started doing it around 9k now its seems to do it at lower rpms too like above 8k, any ideas?
since were playing the "guess that noise" game i also got a grinding noise that comes from the timing belt area when my fan turns on, water pump maybe?
