Wich oil for track driving (FN2)

Hi guys
I'm about to buy some Motul 300V for my new FN2.
I'm going to the Nürburgring and Spa in august. I used 5W30 on my EP3, but I dont know if its to thin? What do you guys use on your K20?
Keep in mind its a everyday car. I'm thinking 5w40 or 5W30 again?

For the Ring/Spa , go for a 5w50 or even 10w50 if its easier to find for you . Both tracks will build serious heat especially if doing multiple laps on a trackday.

Then you can drop it out coming into winter for 5w30 again

Been building it back up from shell upwards since back end of last year. Stevens old k20 running gear . It just got tuned today aswell, mot next week onxe the arches are sorted

5 w 40 is what I use in my fn2 and its not used one bit. Even on track the oil level stayed the same.
