Widest tyres on factory rims?

?Can anyone tell me whats the widest tyres you can safely put on factory alloys? 225? I have the 15" standard EK9 alloys with 195-50 tyres
 
You can't go anymore than that because of the +50offset. It will rub the inside. 195 is the most.
 
i'm looking to get some new tyres an am having trouble findin out the speed rating for them can n e one help?

Go to GT tires in Rotherham and try the latest Falkens for about £50 per corner on ZR rating 01709 897391 :p

J36 off the A1 i think. head towards goldthorpe
 
i hve 205-50-15... tho on EK4 OEM rims, no prob :)

Off which model do you get those oem rims?We got them here in SA on our 96-00 Civic Vtec's.Wasnt aware the rims were available anywhere else.

Must say though,apart from the genuine TypeR rim these are the nicest oem rims.:win:
