Will a ek9 ecu run a b16a2?

Will it be ok to run a b16a2 with a ek9 ecu?

no. why. just for kicks?
different maps for different compression setups between the two.
cams are different too, which would not compute well with the ECU.

nah not for kicks. looking to do the swap in a few weeks and ive got an ek9 ecu. Just wondering if it would be ok for the time being.

what about an a2 block with an ek9 head? how would that go with the ek9 ecu? just curious as thats what i had planned.

I have a EK4 ecu aswell. Would i just need to swap round the immobiliser from my current ecu into it for it to work?

There is no immobiliser in a ek9 ecu. Why do you want to run a ek9 ecu in a ek4? it's going to make it slower

sorry i think ive mis wrote something. Ill try and make it clear, got a b16a2 putting into facelift EJ9. I have a ek9 ecu and an Ek4 ecu. So should i use the ek4 ecu and just swap immobilisers from my ej9 ecu into ek4 ecu? or will there be other problems? was only saying about using ek9 ecu as i know it has no immobiliser

Yes use ek4 ecu as it's for that engine and yes swap over the immobiliser board.
