will a standard ctr mid sections fit a jap b16 sir?

anyone give me an answer for certain? lad wants to buy my exhaust( standard ctr mid section with jap stlye back box) the car is a conversion with a jap sir engine, jasma mani and standard sir exhaust so will he need a 2.5" decat or will it fit straight on? need to know for sure as dont want to leave him stuck with an exhaust he cant use so can anyone tell me for defenite? any info apreciated

If he is running a standard UK length cat or Decat the ek9 exhaust will be too long and he will require a shorter decat or japanese cat as they are shorter.

As for the actual bolting it up i'm not entirely sure

A EK9 cat with flange to accept the 2.5" collector won't fit right to a b16a manifold with 2.25" collector. He would need to use a sir cat and use smaller bolts to mount the ctr middle section to sir cat. The 3 hole flange on catback is a little wider than the mounting points on sir cat but its no big deal easily got around.
