Passenger side window is a ball ache to shut. It goes down fine but you need to put a hand either side of the window to get it back up again.

I'm guessing it's a knackered motor. Is it worth taking the motor out and trying to refurb it or am I best just getting a new one? Could it be something other than the motor?

Cheers.

Would try to find a cheap working second hand one. In the meanwhile you could try siliconespray in the windowrails (or whatever the English word is for that, I'm not sure ;) ). Maybe that will do enough to make it work untill you have found another motor.

Take it out, clean out the rails and as above use some silicone spray on them. Often it is not the motor being weak but too much friction. Worked for me!

As above. Too much friction. Take it apart, clean and lube.

I squired some silicone lube down the edges of my window about 3 years ago - been fine ever since :)

Mine was the same. Passenger window wouldn't even close all the way and left a small gap at top. Stripped the door car off, sprayed the runners with a 3in1 silicone spray and it's been fine ever since :)
