wot is the ratio gear set on a mb6 s9b

i have got a ek4 with a standard box but i have been offerd a mb6 s9b box but have been told its alot slower wot is the diffrence in ratio

S9b has a 4.2 FD.

i am confused so wot is the ratio on the standard and wot is the ratio on the s9b sorry i am new to all of this

4.4 and 4.2 is that a big differnce would it be really notable

Yes it is very noticeable! It's up to you though as it's your car not mine.
