Would a slight dent on the Manifold cause hesitation?

Ok so last night i parked the front of my car a little bit to far over a curb and the manifold downpipe rubbed against it. Running a 4-1.
Checked it out today its not that badly dented but definatley shaved a few mm off.
The car feels harder to redline in third gear now, would the manifold be the cause of that?

No it wouldnt, however if the manifold was hot, it may of cracked it? - but that would be quite obveous to hear lol

No its not cracked or leaking, Just seems a bit harder to redline third gear. Almost like something just blocked the airflow as its about the redline.

Shouldve got a picture of it earlier, alot easier to diagnose then...silly me. Ill try get one in a bit.

I'll put £5 on you just imagining it's harder to redline :)

Haha yeahh it could very well be. Just seemed to hesitate just before it hit redline. like it struggled, could hear it from the exhaust. felt like the air was blocked for a second. But as soon as i started driving it more the problem went away, and it redlined just fine.

itll be fine mate, maybe lose like 1bhp but cant be helped with a lowered car

if that dent is preventing proper power, you have other issues. lol
