As the title says, which one is better? I want to buy one and I want the best. I've never had in hand experience with those two but I've heard that XBOX-360 has generally better specs....I saw no difference in graphics etc though.....So what's the case? Please your answer should be based on the overall quality of gameplay and not on your maker preference! :nice:
 
ps3 is more powerful and has a built in blue ray drive and is cheaper if you plan to watch hd movies as the xbox360 cost 200 to add the hd player. i have a 360 its nice, but my friend has a ps3 and the graphics are better. honestly it all comes down to what games you wanna play, i got my 360 for free, but i would have loved to get a ps3 if only for "final fantasy XIII"
 
Oh I forgot to mention something important......I've also heard that PS3 offers much less game options than XB0X360! Is this true of just a false rumour? :blabla:
 
360 has been out for longer so naturally there will be more games available. but quantity dose not equal quality. it really depends which games you like to play as some games are ONLY available on 1 system, like gran turismo.
 
The X box does have more games at the moment, but thats the only advantage it has over the PS3! There are a lot of new games coming out for the PS3 in the run up to christmas so the X box is looking weaker and weaker. Get a PS3, in the long run it will be the better buy because the Xbox has peaked already where as the PS3 has so much more to offer in the future. :D
 
i own a 360 an iv seen gameplay on the ps3 an to be honest it looks an awful lot better...an u no wat ps is like they always launch loads of games sure wen the ps2 came out it was slow to launch games but look at it now.

i can say all my m8's went for the 360 as soon it was out... i decided to wait for the blimey PS3... seen both now and can say the PS3 looks better, been more reliable too :nice:

only disadvantage of PS3 over the 360 as Manos said is the viraety ofm games! Give PS3 some time to correct this. . . :D
 
I bought the PS2 because of GT3. And I bought the PS3 just for GT5. FF XIII, GTA and Metal Gear Solid will just make me even more pleased :D

The blu-ray player is just a bonus, allthough watching movies in full, 1080p, HD on a 40" screen isn't all that bad :p
 
yah..... buy PS3, thats what im gonna buy if I have the money.... I always like the playstation cause they have more games than the Xbox.... while you're waiting for more PS3 games , just play some PS2 games..:nice:

anyway can PS3 played ordinary DVD? or they can only played Blue ray DVD?
 
xbox 360 all the way for me...I used to be a die hard ps fan but they went down hill with their ps3 their online sucks their game variety sucks their is nothing on the ps3 that says BUY ME im waiting for gt5 and metal gear but its taking them forever to bring them out. XBOX 360 and the XBOX LIVE is untouchable

The PS3 is a new console and is logical to have only few game options for the time being.........Also the new games still to come are gonna be "better"(take advantage of the processor's capabilities), its still in an experimental stage you know... Btw, most people who played both on 360 and PS3 said that PS3 is overall better......
There is nothing on the PS3 that says "buy me"??? Are you refering to the console itself?? Can you clarify this? :nice:
 
One thing I know is the XBOX live has always been the class leader. Otherwise, I've never done a side by side comparison of the HDDVD vs. Blu-Ray movies, so who knows which is better, I'm guessing its the Blu-Ray that comes with the PS3.
As for the games, the xbox360 has better ones so far IMO, like Forza 2 and Halo 3.
 
I've read somewhere something that it seems quite shocking to me! It says that 70% of the consoles were returned to Microsoft so far because of overheating - crash issues.....Is this number true? :nerv:
 
not sure about the actual figure manos... but can tell u all my friends do hve problems on theirs, they crash etc... :nono:

Don't know if its 70% but i have read they recieve over 2500 a day to get repaired :shocked:

PS3 for me hands down :win: :bow:
 
well a friend of mine had a broken xbox 360.... he called the company to change it to a new one, and he waited for like a month and a half to get his new one... then when he look at his xbox, they didnt send his memory card back (i dont know what its called, its like a memory card for xbox) so he called again and they said they lost it, so they gave him a new one.... so he waited again like 1 week to get it back......:nerv:
