Hellooo,

Im hopefully fitting a new Clutch + Flywheel this weekend.

I would like to know the torque setting for all the major bolts that I will be removing. Sorry I can't specify, but I haven't changed a clutch before so I dont really know what bolts are involved.

Cheers, :nice:

Josh..

im not sure myself but if no1 else gets back to you ring your local honda dealerstheyl tell u there and then

For oem flywheel the torque values are 74nm/54lb-ft.
For oem clutch pressure plate they are 25nm/19lb-ft.

Just a note for you seen as its your first time doing this, I normally fit a new spigot bearing/flywheel bearing to flywheel when changing them so might be a good idea to get a new one from honda. And when fitting flywheel tighten all bolts loosely by hand ensuring the flywheel is sitting flush/flat. then torque bolts just like you would a cylinder head(imagine the flywheel is a clock, if you start the first bolt which is at the 12 o clock position then the next bolt to do will be the 6 o clock position and so forth for the rest)

Thanks for that! :nice:

May I ask where you got them from? And do you have any torque setting's outer bolts on the gearbox housing?

Thanks again,

Josh..

Gearbox housing bolts I normally torque them to 45-50lb-ft, think honda value is around this. Try pick yourself up a honda manual on ebay or some other online book store will help you alot for these kind of jobs:nice:
