I had a bad experience with them to be honest, I paid for next day delivery and recieved them 5 days later.....:nono:

But back on topic, does it have to be from those 2 choices? I'd go for the Proxes if so, otherwise go for Hankook RS2's or Eagle F1's in my opinion :nice:

Proxes have too much of a soft sidewall for the type-r:angry:

It has been discussed many times before.

OEM will be the way forward:nice:

toyo proxes aint all that great . im running parada spec 2 jus now and they are alot better .

i'm running on all 4 toyo's have done on all my motors no problems ever.

i've used proxes 4 in all conditions, snow, rain, sunshine, track driving, nurburgring. blah blah blah

I have been very impressed with there life, grip, feel, plenty of warning when they are letting go... DON'T COMMENT ON MY OFF!!! LOL

Will in future be trying R888's but for everyday tyres, i've used them, my brother has used them, martin all really pleased with them.

Just my take on it. I haven't had any complaints of soft sidewalls from either martin or my brother.

Never used the advans but have had the T1Rs and they were a huge upgrade to cheap tyres i had before. couldn't fault them!

Tried the Michelin Pilot Exalto PE2 on an EK9? Its brilliant on my EJ9 but that is low on power so can't really tell. It has a hard side wall as well so it lasts a while.

hankook rs2s!!!

got them on the teg great tyre better than toyo and prada

Im on Proxes T1R's aswell, 195/50/15, 150 euros for 4 delivered to cork from camskills! Been very good for me so far. An as one of the lads said theres good progressive grip from them an ul no when theyre gettin to the limit.
Best grip for the money if u buy through camskills, cuz i checked the prices in hanover tyres etc and dey wanted 100 euros a piece?
If your gona spent 100 a piece you can get the bridgestone potenzas from camskills

now my proxes have bedded in** they have amazing grip, car feels so much sturdier thru the bends!
camskill have been amazin service with me, i would reccoment them to anyone!

from pradas and t1r youd be safe enough on either, ive had both thought toyo were better in wet, yoko better in dry.advan neova i have now on the front, cant fault them, better than other 2 sets mentioned ,only the price i think they 250 a tyre!! i just lucky i had a set on spare rims.

cheers lads,

im thinkin hankook rs2's now...dont think camskill have many left at the moment
