Following on from last years thread

What do you hope to achieve in the next year? Is there anything you regret not doing this year and plan on doing it next year?

For 2016 I hope to;

Buy a house with a decent garage to keep the EK
Get Track days done at Oulton & Anglesey
Do a Skydive
Get a Dog

Taken from the last thread, my plan for 2015 was:

Stay on course for a 1st at uni - Yup
Do another summer placement - Done. Although I left the company I was sponsored by and worked for Jaguar Land Rover to follow what my interests are rather than the money which I'm glad I did. Had one of the best summers of my life.
Get the arches sorted on the civic - Don't be silly. Was about to break the car then my mates bought me a B16 conversion for my birthday to peer pressure me into keeping it, so fitted that instead and keeping the car for the foreseeable future. My mates are awesome.
Enjoy myself, spent too much time in 2014 worrying about work/uni/money - Kinda haha. Enjoyed myself but still worried about the other 3.
Go on a proper holiday - Went to Berlin with the family for 5 days, was ace!

2015 was a really good year for me :)

My plans for 2016:

Get a 1st in my degree
Move away from home permanently for the first time in my life, going down to the Midlands to work for JLR as they've offered me a job which I've accepted
Do more fun stuff with my friends, say it every year but it's my last summer of being free without a full time job so want to take full advantage
Get the niggles on the civic sorted and do track days with the guys

Think that,s it!

2015- left my long term job (15 years) along with a colleague and started our own body shop business,
Took on a large workshop and bought a lot of equipment.

Worked hard to build up a good reputation,
Spent spare time with the girlfriend, and spare spare time working on the ek9 (not much)

2016- continue to develop the business,
maybe squeeze in a holiday,
Finish the ek9 and use it on track,

Some how try to get a mortgage (self employed and mortgage don't go together well)

Learn to tune on hondata, preferably other platforms and makes/models also.
Do the ek9 some justice on track by learning to drive abit closer to the cars limits.
Prepare for a possible(hopeful) season of time attack in 2017.
Visit the ring again and get that sub 8 I missed last year.
More shows/meets/trackdays with ek9ers.
Earn more money than I did last year.

2016:

1). Try and get at least one track day in my EP before I leave the country for 9 months with the forces
2). Save a shed load of money whilst out the country to spend on the car when I get home. :))
3). Make a decision on whether I should boost the EP or swap it for another DC2 possibly EK9. :naughty:
4). Try and find a unit/storage place for my car.
5). Enjoy the time I actually have off work and make the most of it.
6). Possibly buy a cheap drift car with a mate and learn how to do a skid properly. :naughtyx:
