Picked up my new machine last week and took it straight down to combe for japfest! It's a 98 EK4 VTIS and came with a decent spec including:

Red Recaros
EP3 300mm discs and yellowstuff pads
EK9 suspension
Fast road geometry setup with adjustable camber arms
Spoon N1 catback
Some sort of 4-2-1 manifold
Whales ***** intake

Plans are to tidy it up a bit, replacing the rear lights with oem ones, EK9ing the headlights and by next year have it ready for the track!

Cheers, am sure some of the Glasgow members will have seen it about!

Sorted the rear lights this evening, swapped them ebay specials with a set of facelift ones from my EJ9 before i went and sold it! Got a set of headlights to use while i take apart my own ones to strip down, clean and repaint as well :)

Will also be on the lookout for 16" wheels if anyone's selling a set let me know! Not set on what I want really, just bored of Grids after running them on several cars for the last 2 years!

Going to make up a VTIS sticker at work as I cant find a genuine badge anywhere :(
 
yeah its japspeed 1 bought it about 4 month before a sold you my car ;) u raced anything decent yet ??

Ah right cheers! Think I bought it from the guy you sold it to, only picked it up last week! Had a wee play on the way down to japfest on a good stretch of clear motorway with a PS13 silvia but to be honest I got pissed all over By it haha! Got a couple of bits coming to freshen up the look of it then I'll hopefully have it on the track!

Got a couple of updates! Bought an SiR grill finished in Starlight black (thanks to Eterna blue 2000) and fitted that the other day along with giving the car a wash :) Also fitted a new dizzy cap so all is well now on the ignition front after a couple of problems.

Also recieved 12x6 plates in the mail today and fitted them after work! Took a couple of pics while its still shiny lol


Look out for some new wheels in the next week or so :D

You got them as well? Proper oem ones? Haha I bought a set off eBay being told they're oem ones but I doubt that they are haha.
 
Quick update! These have just been bought and will have them next weekend :D need to give them a paint but I got them for a decent price so can't complain!

I didn't mind them too much but they were cracked and leaking so they had to go! Cheers mate :)

EK9'd the headlights this evening, what a nightmare of a job! Haha pics will be on tomorrow
 
Quick update, painted the headlight inserts last night :) said to myself after I did my old ej9 ones that I'd never do it again but it had to be done!



 
Small update, have a OEM VTI-S badge on the way along with some EK9 Starlight black sideskirts to freshen up the look of the car! Also hoping to have it machine polished and detailed this weekend . :)
 
Bought a set of EK9 side skirts from strictlyboost as they were finished in starlight black and my car looked odd with everything else colour coded. Just spent the last half hour swapping them over :)

Also have bought an OEM VTiS badge from eBay which I'll be reconditioning!
