DC2 K24 Turbo Project

Thanks It is nice to be able to design and make some parts but I have never made a turbo manifold before so it might not work!!! I just like the challenge of it.

Fancy making a bseries one? Eventually I'd like a tubular. I quite like having custom bits on the car aswell...

Sorry Jesse have enough work for myself to keep me very busy, I have been building my car for 1 1/2 years and its not back on its wheels yet!!!!

No worries bud, worth a shot lol

Interested to see how this turns out! reckon you will have this turbo'd before I do so looking forward to seeing the power output. My car is no where near as clean as yours however haha.

So am I !! going to keep the engine stock so I will see how long that last's, looking for around 350hp so shouldn't be to stressed, have you got a build thread would be good to see.

I haven't got a build up no. I may do at some point however.

350hp is exactly where I want to be at. My build is nothing exciting however.. Will be using simple kit (log manifold) and running a Garrett t3/t4oe. Should spool pretty quick and do the job Nicley. My car isn't a show car haha.

I am not really building a show car I want to do some track days and want the car clean and not to have to worry about rust! would be go to exchange idea's etc .

Yeah I'll post up a thread soon. Interested to see how your manifold turns out. Really do like/ want a sidewinder but the cost compared to a standard log manifold is crazy. But seeing as you are making it yourself there must be a huge saving.

Will you be running a RBC inlet manifold or stock? I'm running stock RBB ATM but the angle of it makes the air filter position a bit pants lol

Just curious, Why not make the manifold flange out of stailess steel ?

I am running the stock manifold I want to try and keep the low end torque because the engine will only be revving to 7400rpm but the angle of the throttle body is a pain.

Stainless steel expands more than mild steel, people have had stainless flange's snap the exhaust stud's with the rate of expansion!!
