DC2 K24 Turbo Project

Just finished painting the engine bay and schultzing the chassis rails, also bought a p2r engine bracket thanks to Tegiwa for there help and fast delivery so should have the engine test fitted on the weekend, I want to see what room I have for the turbo setup. on a side note I have bought some CRV front hubs these are the same as the JDM Dc2 with the 36mm nut so they should bolt in with no problems, then I can use ep3 and dc5 axles without swopping the cv joints that's the plan anyway:x:.

Got the engine in this morning, I can now work out where the fuel and brake lines can go and the wiring, just placed the rad in to make sure the K-tuned hose's fit!! It also looks like I should have good ground clearance ( I am going to try a keep stock ride height)

Love it!!! That tub will be awesome there, think I'm going to sell the Clio and start a new build!!! Love a mod

Interesting idea with the crv hubs, be interested to see how that works out, and if that option would work on a ek as well.

Nice job so far!

Thanks

Got the idea from k20a.org (poor man's 5 stud conversion) apparently there the same as the jdm dc2 Integra with the 36mm hub nut, If it works there should be no reason why it wouldn't work with a k-swap ek because you use the dc2 sub-frame.

Christ Matt!! Putting that car in the unit has made things move along quicker, not used to seeing you move so fast!! :)

Yeah, tis safer as well.... We'll have a full arsenal of turbo cars again, EK9, DC2, mk2 20vt and the trusty Clio turbo!

Castle Combe will need to be booked up so Geoff can loose the bet!

Would be nice to have it finished before the end of the year but other things are supping the funds!!! .

Got on with my turbo manifold this weekend, went with the top mount design I think this give's more room in the engine bay, anyway this my first go at making one, really enjoyed the process just got to finish weld and add the wastegate, if the welds hold up I will get the manifold ceramic coated, here are some pic's and any suggestion welcome always learning!!!
