DC2 K24 Turbo Project

Right guys managed to get the waste gate pipe welded on then test fitted the turbo and WG, looks like I will have to move the heater pipes and control valve possible poor design:)).

Tried to get a tear drop shape for the WG exit so to help stop boost creep.

Ideal if you want to run coolent through the wastegate! Not so good for keeping your toes warm!

Looks awesome though mate, best in trade!

Thanks mate.

Going to silver solder some fittings to the heat exchanger and re-route the pipes.

That's gonna be one fast machine! Nice fab work :nice:

Are you going to run a screamer or route the wastegate back into the downpipe?

Going to route it back to the down pipe with the flexi like we did with yours.

Ideal, save you getting fumigated as you drive. Are you gonna run a sports cat or no cat?

Oh and you've done that manifold all wrong... this is how you should have routed it. :nerv:

Going to run with a sport cat can't be bothered with putting one on for the mot then taking it off and I want the car quiet.

Fitted the front suspension I am using mk1 crv uprights and hubs (36mm nut) rebuilt them with new bearings / bottom ball joints and back plates now I have to work out what driveshafts fit.

Here's some pics.

Looks like it's ready to drive now, cut out the floor pan and flintstone it!!
Couple more months I should have it ready just got gearbox to rebuild brake lines fuel lines all the small bits!!! I am trying to find brake bulkhead fittings what that company you used again?

A set of prayoonto lean engine mounts would have been nice since you did the top mount manifold instead of the regular sidewinder..

I did look at them but the car is going to be used for track days and the road and still want to keep the good handling of the dc2, I think the prayoonto mounts are for drag racing, there is lots more room than the pic's make it look.
