EG civic K-swap inside


Car looks wicked mate, hats off to how much you've done in a short space of time!

LSD will make life much easier on track, im still getting used to mine but if you drive it with a bit of confidence its very rewarding :)
 
@ColbyCol thanks man work in progress still needs some more cool bits haha!

I'm hoping the diff makes a good improvement the 4.7 final drive will help too! Can't wait to try it out :)
 
Built up my gearbox today so it's ready to go in possibly at the weekend if I get time amongst all the other stuff I've got in really can't wait to get it fitted :)



 
I was toying with painting it but despise when it starts to flake and it's not a show piece clean metal will suffice!

Think I'll be changing my clutch while the box it out as I think part of the pressure plate is broken as struggles to get into gears and is making a whole lot of funky noises
 
So yesterday me and @LoganK fitted my gearbox went fairly smoothly


When I had the box removed I checked my clutch as was acting up for a couple of weeks I'll let the pics do the talking







After finding that I swapped the clutch and flywheel for b18c ones that where sitting in my garage.

After re assembling the car we took it a quick drive, instantly fell in love with the box the diff and 4.7fd have totally changed my car feels so much more planted going through and coming out corners and goes through the gears amazing can't wait to get back on track!
 
Made such a difference to the car it's unreal!

Plus I got a nice shower with gearbox oil which was nice :lol:
 
Picked myself up a new manifold yesterday will be fitted as soon as I get a clamp for my decaf and a gasket can't wait!

Its believed to be a genuine RMF manifold not 100% though maybe someone on here would know! It's had a bit of a re-weld on 2 runners and the join to the main pipe but was a bargain and looks cool!







 
Meant to add also fixed my extremely bad fuel consumption! found it to be that the previous owner who had the 70mm skunk 2 throttle body had it fitted with hondabond and the hole for the map sensor was blocked so put standard TB back on and it's a lot better now :)
 
Got my manifold fitted yesterday feels like it pulls a bit better but probably psychological because if fitted different parts lol! So here are some pics!







Had to chop the fan shroud and fan to accommodate the manifold haha

 
That manifold looks excellent, would be actually good to know what difference it makes alone, in terms of how it feels from just your regular 421
 
Got myself a few parts over the past few weeks!

Started with some spoon pads fairly good pads and got them cheap enough not to grumble. yet to see how they do on track but won't be till next year I don't think!





Then the mission that was last weekend where I got some spoon coilovers and changed to loop eye but fount the rear dampers where weak and the car was all over the place so had to change back to my weitecs for now! And also found one of my brake lines where fouling the wheel where the previous owner hadn't routed properly! so ordered some braided lines tha didn't arrive so had to get other ones off a friend (mrsilicone on eBay terrible service avoid) so got them fired on with the pads and ended up getting skunk2 rear lcas as had to chop one of the original ones :(



Cleaned them up and got them fired on no fitted pics as of yet still need a asr brace for teg rear arb
 
@King Sir only if it was a ef9 :( its only a gl haha it's one of my mates! He was my chauffeur for the weekend as my car wasn't driving
 
On Tuesday I ordered my new steering wheel finally :) got myself a neo grinta, suede with yellow stiching :) from @6TWO1 great service definitely recommend! Adam is extremely helpful!









Not fitted it yet but hopefully will be soon :) get some pics of it fitted as soon as it is!

Yeah that's true miss my runaround ef sedan when I was saving for another car after my teg gave up the ghost :(
