Steady running elchunk? Slow- Medium pace runs for long periods (30-40 minutes). 3 times a week, building up to alternate days and longer sessions.
Anyone into running?
usually going to the gym 3 times a week. Start every session with around 15 mins on tread mill at ~7pmh (get bored running and sometimes get trapped air which makes the rest of the workout a balls!), then onto the cycle machine for another 15 mins or so doing a mix of high resistance at medium rpm and then a lower resistance at a higher rpm. then i usually start into the weights. If Im doing legs weights i do less cardio but most of my workout in upper body and torso stuff as that's where Im lacking atm.
Running on concrete is bad for your joints!
Disagree Dan.
It can be a strain but should not do any long term damage if you are healthy. Running is completely natural and people have evolved to be able to handle the pressure put on there joints.
It's a fact luck it up I got taught this on my gym instructor course the shock your joints get from runnin on a hard surfaces!
Running is really good for you to keep you fit etc all depends on what your running on!
