The rubber spacer/washer you're referring to is OEM hardware from the stock air box. Instructions say to place the elbow fin on top of this spacer and put the bolt through it. However, some users have broken the fin in this position and just use the bolt. It is up to you. The spacer keeps the...

Thanks! But no luck here in the states. That part is Discontinued. :angry2: To bad Honda can't just order parts worldwide.
Also, thanks for all the pictures you posted showing the rotors and taper. It's one of the reasons the ek9.org community is the best!
Thanks for the help everyone!

I have tried contacting several Spoon authorized dealers with no success. I do have an email into Spoon Sports Europe and still waiting to hear back.

Yeah, MG rotors would be difficult to source here in the states. I checked out the link you gave...
It's not so much I want to buy Spoon discs as I want to verify the size. I'm finding conflicting info that they are are either 280mm or 282mm.
Since I'm on a 4 lug set-up, I'm thinking of using mini cooper rotors as they are 4x100 and 280mm. However, some say the extra 2mm will cause the...
Hey everyone! I'm looking for a pair of OEM EK9 Recaro Seat rails complete for driver and passenger side. Also, I'm in the USA, so international shipping applies. Thanks!
Nice build! It's a shame the EK9 was never sold in the states. Any ways, what was the process to get it RHD legal? Did it help that the car was originally LHD?
CA is the worst for car enthusiast due to all the CARB laws, etc.
Yes, I bought them from RHDJapan. I've heard a lot of good things about them and was assured the spacers were legit prior to ordering. Also, I just discovered another distributor selling genuine Spoon products, and they sell the same black spacers. I guess Spoon changed the design at some point...
No, there's nothing on them to suggest they are from Spoon. However, the packaging, part#, and item description look genuine Spoon - Clear plastic with blue squares, Spoon logo, item description, etc.
Does anyone know if the Spoon 3mm spacers ever came in black w/o the rotor screws cut out? I just received a set in black, and it all looks legit - packaging, part#, etc. Just curious.

Hmmm...the problem with the longer length is the self-locking nut Spoon uses. I suppose I could use some regular nuts that will tighten up the the caliper body instead of stopping short.
They are M6. The thread is 1.00 between threads and approximately 3mm of horizontal thread length. The total length of the bolt (shaft) excluding the head is 95mm.
Are you sure? I bought some 6mm x 1.00 x 90mm which were .5mm too short and some 6mm x 1.00 x 100mm which was .5mm too long. I believe 95mm would work and they use the same 5mm allen hex key as Spoon, but I can't find 95mm anywhere online only 90mm and 100mm. Oh yeah, the THREAD length on both...
Thanks! I will give that a try. I have found a size smaller and a size larger. The larger size would work if the threads were a tad longer. I wonder if a machine shop can add .5mm of threading?
Does anyone know if Spoon sells replacement bolts for their Spoon calipers or where to buy them? I'm specifically interested in the two metric socket head screws that hold the brake pads in place. As far as I can tell, they are 6mm x 1.00 x 95mm. Thanks!
