    Any og's still on here?

Still here, don't post too much, but this forum is a much more useful resource than any Facebook group. Not because the Facebook groups aren't useful themselves, but it's difficult to search for articles on Facebook compared to here!

Tein HA - looking for part number

Hi Kipper, Thank you for the photo - that's great. I've been making more enquiries and since found out that you can contact Tein UK head office for assistance, who have now provided me with the part numbers I need. For info, I need to replace the locking collars (seat locks) as the...

Hello, Would anyone know the original part number for the Tein HA front coilovers for the EK9? Need it to try and order some spare bits, but haven't got access to the car today. Thank you.

    Longest owner

Sorry for late reply - been on holiday :) It was already in the UK and modified when I bought it, and cost over £10k. Mods are pretty low key: ecu, coilovers, induction, full exhaust, wheels, quickshift. It's been a second car most of the time, but was my only car for a couple of years...

    Longest owner

Bought my EK9 in Oct 2001, the thought of selling it has passed through my mind a few times, but somehow I don't think that will happen. Could be one of the older owners as well as was 46 this year.

I thought insurance was meant to go down?!

I would keep phoning around, supposedly car insurance prices are falling according to an AA report: BBC News - Car insurance prices 'falling at record rate'. But it does seem like the cost keeps going up and the cover goes down, excesses seem really high now from a lot of companies.

GT5 = biggest failure ever created for a games console! EVER!

If your load times are slow, consider selecting the option to copy the data onto the PS3's hard disk, though it'll need between 4-6GB disk space. Has already been two updates since I first inserted the disc into the PS3, so bound to be loads more. Updates don't half take some time though, was...

    Idle Problem, IACV Faulty?

Useful info - thanks for posting. Just used the car after a few weeks sitting in the garage, and once it had warmed up it wouldn't idle - idle was only about 200rpm, and the engine kept cutting out, though when cold the idle wasn't as steady as normal, and if I held the revs at 1500 when it was...

The problem with text spelling, is you don't find these posts when you do a search, as the search function doesn't translate normal spelling into text spelling.

    £320 Fully Comp with SKY

Didn't phone too many companies at last renewal, but went with Sky as it cheapest I could find, and better than my renewal, and they were really helpful when I called them. All mods declared, though helps that I've got full NCB and am over 40.
