Would the cams work with a stock B16B engine /valve train?

How well did it run eoghain?

I might just leave it then, I don't want to get into bottom end / piston work as the costs start to spiral. I was hoping I could just plonk the cams/ valvetrain in, remap and go.

How much of a head skim could I go with without risking contact? Cheers!

Hello there, couple of questions Is 80k miles or kms? And do you have anything to back this up? Could you ship to England and how much would it cost? How much would you take for just the lump and intake manifold? I.e no loom, injectors, dizzy etc. Thanks Joe

Ignitor in the dizzy on its way out would be my ods on favourite. Notorious b series problem.

Thanks, been off the Honda scene for a while I'm out of touch :). So my plan is to use a B18 long block with the stock ek9 ancillaries, engine harness and dizzy etc. Then just use a p28/p30 ecu with a conversion harness, get it mapped and jobs a good 'un. Sound about right?

I bet the headgasket has been fitted upside down....not that uncommon for people to do that with b series engines.

Sell me the B20 and get yourself a B18C4 which would be far more suited :) BTW I'm serious and local to you!

Nice video....you're a better driver than your friend, that track is far more suited to a "power" car than an Ek9. Evo 4 looks cool like.

Sell the b16b and pick up a complete b18c4. You might even make enough profit to pay for the forged pistons :)

I'm looking for a decent low mileage set of dampers and a set of spoon progressive springs. PM me if you have either, I have BC coilovers if anyone was interested in a deal.

They are definitely adjustable the marks on top relate to the different settings. When I had D2s on my CRX the adjustment didn't actually do much to be fair.....they really weren't the best. Full soft to full hard barely made much difference.

Fair enough some people get a kick out of having the very best parts available but £1300 for a manifold jeeeez. How anyone can justify the extra money for what lets face it is bugger all real world difference I have no Idea. A decent manifold on a turbo motor might be the difference of 20bhp...
