Ye should go well, want to build an engine for mine just not sure what route to go, k20 or turbo b18, I would just be afraid of the k20 sitting so low in the bay and close to the ground

I have had a problem like this, small bit different, my car runs okay but wont idle correct, also doesnt idle atal when it is cold the engine just cuts out i can keep the engine running by keeping the revs at around 1000rpm when it warms up the engine idles at around 500-600rpm...

40mm lowering springs is usually what people lower their cars by when they dont want to go to low, coilovers is your best option as you can pick any height you want, i think mine is down around 80mm not 100% on that because its on coilovers, could be more or could be less, and yes it scrapes...
