mate thats a good price, and some of the uk ones are just as good as jdm ones. im sure you'll find a great one for the cash you have :)

Thats a good fair price.. Yea it is so stupid as long as its a jap import they wont touch it.. I had many arguements on the phone with companys over it

i cant believe how ridiculous insurance is in this country. seriously should take some ideas from the likes of usa

I'm 20 and I got my insurance for less tha a grand on my EK9. How come it's so expensive for you?

My company would change no extra over a UK or import DC2. The problem is, we'd need you to be aged 21 or over for fully comp cover.

I got similar price quotes for an ek9 and a UKDM DC2. Most insurance companies don't seem to like imports I think.

i havent looked an ek9 insurance tbh, my feelings at the moment are that i would prefer a b18 rather than a b16 and with a dc2 i get more for my money.

I see what you mean. I was bored so looking at insurance prices for different cars, UK Supra twin turbo is £400 less than a UKDM DC2 or EK9 lol...

Lol that is some crazy ****!!!

I don't even won't to know how much my insurance will be if I start looking at quotes for myself I will go off driving!

The only reason why insurance is so much for us young people is because of the stupid f**king drivers out there that don't know what a track is or don't even know how to drive and already think there the Lewis Hamilton on the roads:nono:

See it's funny because I am 18 1 years no claims and get insured fully comp on an ek9 for £1500, with bell! My postcode is good and occupation helps too!

Agree that with the Dc2 get a lot more for the money good choice man

My insurance on 1.4 polo was around that price wen i was 18 lol, although it could be that, there's a higher crime rate over here than the mainland... saying that, i'm now paying half that now for my 9, fully comp, with 3rd party extension :))

I went for property instead!

You have to do a lot of playing about with insurance sites, toggling everything to see what brings down the price, for instance, car value, where its parked, get on 2 older named drivers (parents) excess also makes a huge difference
