Basically ive seen a nice set off 14" BBS's for sale, just wondering how i could pull them off without going super low?

Any help would be great!

tbh your sump, manifold etc... would be hitting the floor by the time you've lowered it and it sitting nicely.

This is what im thinking, and im not in the states where speedbumps are unheard of!

as long as the tire fills the wheel well i think you could pull it off, it's just a bit more rubber to look at.. lowering is sick it's just impractical for most areas...

Who on earth would want higher profile tyres on 14's to fill the arch on stock ride height??

What do you mean 'lowering is sick'

Back on the topic, I don't think you'll be able to pull 14's off without putting it on the floor!

Just my opinion mate ;)

do you need a new engine and exhaust,, you are going to be too close to the ground and you are going to destroy your sump and manifold and exhaust, heard of a guy that did it with a ek,

My standard 14's look ok on my car and its been dropped 60mm, just a bit of the old exhaust scrape on bumps though :/

This plan has since been aborted,14's are jut not possible in scotland.

...good idea to avoid 14's as you would be dragging ass all over the place.
To give you an idea, my mud flaps on the front of my civic are both ground down about 30mm due to running smaller wheels all around. And forget about speed bumps they might as well be a 5 story buildings. Lastly, you will need small ramps to roll your can onto just to jack it up due to jacks not going that low. lol

good lad lol. 15s are the smallest and 16s are the biggest for an ek

have you got coilovers? i have 14inch wheels with 185-55-14 tyres (stock was 185-60-14), i am lower than stock a lot. No clearance issues but i own a ej9 with dc header and full exhaust.

You wont, itll always look wank as **** regardless of height.

HTH.
