Wernt you selling this before or breaking? GLWTS anyway mate breat spec :)

yes had it up on here few months back then decided to keep it.

please note: the smoke is very little and hardly noticeable but i thought id mention it.. all it needs is a few hundred pounds spent on it and someones got themselves a very quick N/A car.

do you know what the problem with the smoke is.... reason being. my Ek4 B16A2 is currently starting to smoke on Vtec so was after something that i don't have to sort out

You say about piston slap aswell how much is that to sort out Properly, isn't that when the piston is impacting the cylinder wall..
so the clearence of piston and cylinder bore is too great, so it'd either be mismatched pistons or the bores... or both....
..... i'd be asking the bank for a short term loan so wouldn't have a couple of hundred to spare TBH..

when the block was bored out to 81.5mm it was slighty overbored which means the piston has slight movement from where the oil escapes thats the oil that burns but whe it warms up theres no smoke at all, the pistons are perfectly fine the best way to resolve this problem from what i was told at the local engine builders is getting another b18 block getting it bored correctly to 81.5mm install everything back in and all thats left then is mapping, hope this helps

thanks for your reply dude but i simply don't have the money to buy another blcok and get everything swapped..

thanks for your time though. sorry to ask and then say i'll leave it. it will help others wondering the same though.

GLWS dude.

dam nice civic, dam! you all are so lucky to find these gems at these prices. I would never be able to find something like this for that price in the USA/California; they are all gobbled up...:(

nice looking eg and with that spec sheet and that much power it must feel really good...
and tama666 is that van gogh in your avatar ?

I had a ek4 sir that had exactly the same problem it doesn't affect daily driving what so ever if I remember rightly it's just one burst then it clears it self. Really is not a issue

Update: Buddyclub seats have been replaced with crx del sol seats,

price lowered to £3000.
