thanks for the quotes guys, just to let it be known, this is one of the main reasons for sale.

i cannot sit here as an enthusiast and not do the work to it. This is why i am selling so that the new owner can do the work to this car so it can regain its glory !!!!

Please come and have a look at this car, trust me you will drive it away. !!

Hi danny, yes mate got all the interior.. more than willing to fit it before the sale..

May get a bit more interest with interior fitted , I had stripped civic on Market for ages then bought an interior and it went in a matter or days .
 
Think the prob is Topher u have listed every single bad point, which isnt a bad thing. But mentioning stuff like a flaky cam cover, black bits under windows paint chipping off and grey centre caps isn't a huge prob IMO. May just be putting a lot of people off....
 
Advert cleaned... TBh asif because there aren't alot of genuine people around i think you are right. people are reading the advert and only see BAD things, Its a good car, a great car even !!
i have simply always under sold things my whole life that way its easy to impress ;)

MarkP - I think i will fit the interior at the weekend and take some pictures. thanks for the advice. I Think this might be the problem Tbh..

What do you mean buddy, surely you can do a bank transfer from a credit card.. ?? or transfer the money into your bank and with draw it as cash :)
 
I don't see that as a bad thing. I just advertised my FD2 and took pictures and explained all the bad points. I think honesty is a good thing when selling a car.

Once my FD2 has gone and I'm ready to buy, I can't start my search more seriously.
 
COME ON !!!! someone buy this car.. So many people pussying out due to such minor bodywork issues.

i spoke to a mechanic who has done our family car's for years, he quoted me £370 for both the arches at the back. professionally welded in and smoothed and painted, ive seen his work and he does such a good job its his hobbie now as he has just retired but his work is second to none. Basically you should be able to get the arches sorted anywhere in the counrty for under £500... and FFS that is ridiculously cheap.
 
FFS Tophers, that's cheap. U would be as well getting them sorted for that price and putting her up for 4.2-4.4K
 
I agree, if you have the money I think it'd be well spend getting them replaced, it might not sell for much more over what you've spent but it'd sell faster certainly.
 
Trust me i'd love to, but the sole reason i am selling is because i cannot afford to do it..

i don't really get it... if know-one is willing to buy the EK9's like this that need a little work, what is going to happen to them. If people only buy the mint ones there won't be any left at this rate.
 
I honestly cannot understand why this hasn't been sold, it's not much more what I bought my Clio for and I'm sorry but there is so much more car for the money
As said mate if things like insurance was cheaper then I would be right round to get it, but like you I just can't afford to look after it like it deserves
