Hi there, thought this might appeal you you guys, its run by rebel motorsport, and is a day of auto solo at castle combe,
This is ideal for any level of driving as long as you have a full UK licence... one car on the track at any one time so you don’t have to worry about someone hitting you or you hitting them
What is Auto Solo
Events take place on somewhere like a tarmac car park – here at Combe we use the paddock. The test routes are marked by cones with numbered marker posts, which you pass in ascending order, so as long as you can count you’ll know which way to go. We also use horizontal bright-yellow cones to point the way round; the intention being to make the event a test of driving skill rather than of memory, and a measure of your car’s agility rather than outright speed. You will incur penalties if you go wrong or hit the markers, but the main aim is to complete the test course smoothly and quickly - times are recorded by hand-held stopwatch to 0.1 sec. accuracy
Rebel Motorsport Club Auto Solo Day 22nd September 2012
This event will be held with 0 pressure. Timings can be done and given on request and results well be posted up on the club site.
The price will depends on the amount of cars that attend and we would look to limit the numbers so there isn’t too much hanging around plus you would be expected to help out when not on the course as this again will keep costs down.
