Having given up hope of ever seeing the missing parts for my ASR sway bar kit I need to find suitable bits to replace the stuff that has vanished into the ether. I am missing the D brackets and bushes, while I can get the brackets made up I am stumped on the bushes.

I'll need one with a 24mm I.D, does any Honda use a 24mm sway bar (front or rear) as stock as I could adapt these to fit?

Excellent! Thats one bit sorted then! I'll get the brackets too and hope they fit...

Does anyone know if the bolts used to fix the brackets to the subframe brace on the ASR kit are the same size as the OE ones?

Success, bought the bushes and brackets and they fit! :D

iv just put my 9 in for an mot, the rear bushes are an advisory so im going to get them done as soon as i can, i foned honda but they are not sure if the im JDM is the same as the UK, can anyone tell me if they are the same if not were can i get them from? cheers guys

not the same im afraid

use an ek9 chasis number should be able to match straight away

the guy in honda has my chassis number mate, but says hes not sure. would it be the anti roll bar bushes or the lower arm bushes? cheers

Could be either, the MOT station should have said which?

they didnt say which 1, all they said was its the one which connects up into the chassis, any idea which 1? cheers

Lower arm bushes are the lower control arms

ARB mount bushes are the D shaped bushes that are where the ARB mounts to the subframe

If the bushes are worn that "connects up to the chassis" these could be the inner lower arm bushes or the ARB mount bushes as they both meet the chassis

Give honda your chassis number and have them order the correct bushes that come up on the screen. The ARB mount bushes take a lot of time to wear tbh, if there is ply in the ARB i'd guess that the drop links are more worn

After fitting these parts, I found the bushes needed modifying to fit, basically hacksawing off one lip in order to get the bolts lined up. They lasted all of one hour.

I am ****ing fed up with this **** now. None of the vendors respond to any ****ing emails I send asking about buying spare parts and emails to ASR just get bounced back, what the hell is going on? Why is it so impossible to get hold of these four lousy ****ing parts?!

Raaaagh!
