305mm discs

hi there , my civic ek4 has a 305mm brake conversion using some other model of honda's calipers, and an aluminium booster. The guy i bought it off had no idea what model though, can anyone shed some light on what setup its now running? im needing new calipers and possibly the bracket too but i cant seem to find them anywhere... and all the other conversions i can find dont use discs that size, but the power from them and yellow stuffs is insane. Id hate to almost downgrade.

are they twin pot calipers? They could be accord type r, i know they are around 300mm. Any pics?

I would see a 282mm disc and a good pad as an upgrade over anything with yellow stuff to be honest.

ATR are 300mm and use twin pot pistons. Im not aware of any Honda that uses 305mm discs. Are they definitely OEM Honda calipers - do they say Nissin on them?

The only disc that Honda do that's >300mm is a 304mm rear disc from a CR-V... probably not what you've got fitted.
I can usually source any disc if you can supply the measurements. Ie as many from the below pic as possible:

Is very possible it's from another car so I can check my database and find out what.
There's around 15 discs which are 305mm diameter from 12 different manufacturers.

Also, get a pic of them too, as they may be a 2 piece custom setup.

hi guys, sorry for not being on in a while, net was down! ill get pics tonight..heading to the garage to paint the stripped interior

In the end i went to a machine shop and got them to make a new bracket to hold the caliper as the old one is toast!
I was wondering if they might be standard vti calipers using the tenzo r big brake brackets but cant find much info/pics of them on the net.

The guy i bought it off said the calipers were off a prelude...but buying pads and them not fitting ruled that out..! Yes the calipers do say nissin on them, is that oe?
What ever they are, they worked awsome! I am yet to be out braked for anything
