Well time has come to put up my ek9 for sale. I have owned this car for nearly 3 years. Purchased this car in january 2009. It has been very well minded in the time I had it and was very well minded by the previous owner. Car is taxed till 12-11 and nct'd till 07-12.
This car was only used as a weekend car for me and was garaged over the bad winter months. It was cleaned and waxed nearly every weekend if not ever 2nd weekend and polished on occasion to. Was always kept and minded. The car was housed this winter from novemeber till febuary and has been off the road sense the middle of july so it has done less than 4000km so far this year.
The body work is in very good condtion, espically for a car that is now 13 years old. Has the odd little stone chip but no really noticable dents or marks. Two of the "civic type r"decals were replaced due to slight peeling. The front bumper and lip, the grill and the rear bumper and lip were professionally resprayed last febuary when it came out of the garage. There is no sign of any rust in the arches as it was always cleaned well to prevent and rusting. The oem alloys have just been resprayed and have not a single mark on them with brand new "H" stickers on the center caps with 195/55/15 tyres. The seibon carbon bonnet has a slight few stone chips but still shines up very well. The car also has areo-catchs fitted for extra security to the bonnet.
Many new parts have gone into the car in recent times. The RTA bushings and one front wheel bearing were changed last october just weeks before going into storage. While over the winter it got all new ARB droplinks and ARB bushings. It also got a new rear mount and also the two torque mounts. All oem honda parts used. It also got a coolant change. The car has only done about 4000km sense all these parts went in so it drives great. Car has bc br coilovers fitted.Spring rates are 10 up front and 6 in the rear. Car handles great with no knocking.
The car has been put back to near standard so the new owner can build the car they want or leave it the way it is and have a great car with great power. It has a standard ek backbox, b-pipe and de-cat with a spoon 4-2 mainfold. Has a dc2 airbox with a near new k&n filter with a cold air feed piped. The car has just had its oil changed today and always was at 5000km with a oem honda filter. Has ngk Iridium plugs. Its a very healty engine and does not smoke or burn excess oil.
The interior is always kept very clean and will be valeted in the coming days for the new owner (pictures will be taken then). Has a momo steering wheel with a d1 spec snap off kit for extra security. The recaros are also on dc2 rails modifed to fit the ek9 as I found the ek9 rails sitting to high. It has a rear Spoon brace in the boot.
I think I have covered most of it so will let the pictures do the talking now. I am looking â¬5200. I think its worth more but I guess not in todays market. It is one of the cleanest ek9s I have seen and people who have seen it will agree that its minded like a baby.
