I was just wondering how insurance companies deal with modifications made after the original policy has begun. Is there a seperate tariff for modifications done to the car whilst the policy is running or would the cost be the same as if I had stated before the quote was accepted? How would this then be paid for?
And lastly, is there a requirement to let the insurance company know if you change from, for example, a Spoon N1 exhaust to a Mugen Twinloop or would this just be classed as after-market exhaust system and so, in the event of a crash, it wouldn't matter what brand of exhaust was on the car, just that it was aftermarket?
