Been busy over Christmas with work so ive not updated the thread but I have been keeping an eye on what everyone else has been doing! Managed to get a few deals, little bits to tidy up the bay and some new rear light seals as mine were shot!

Didnt take any photos of changing the rear light seals, we've all been there and done that...
Took a bit of time to clean out the IACV before fitting it, having no idea how long the TB had been off the previous car or if it had been sat I thought it was best to do this before fitting, cba with taking it back off!

Thought id taken a photo after id cleaned it out but apparently not

Having a few issues with getting the car to idle properly after revving it, tried to calibrate the TPS in K Pro but im sure the throttle cable needs to be adjusted. After revving it holds idle higher and it you move the cable it drops back to normal so I need to look at that, I have a new one anyway so I will just replace it first. Hoping that sorts the idle out (fingers crossed), launch control works as my neighbours found out yesterday and im now the most hated person around here Need to fit my braided lines, change the drivers side carrier as the thread is stripped, source a bolt that goes through the top of the transmission housing into the top of the EKK2 mount, metric I believe. Also need to check my bottom rad hose as I noticed it was dripping
slightly, then hopefully it will all be ok! Car is insured so once all the minor issues are ironed out I will book it in for MOT and she will be out

Thanks mate, I remember seeing that a while back.

Hadnt planned on doing much on the car with the season we are I thought the weather would have been a lot worse than it has been. Went from minimal snow to highs of +18 the other day and now rain again, strange...

Had a couple of things arrive and still waiting on a few more too, slowly gathering parts such as SiR stuff for the future when the car is resprayed.

Genuine Spoon brace, could use a good polish to bring it back to a good shine which I will get around to doing. Had a good deal on this and couldnt pass it up, hoping to pick up a front one to match at some point just need to be sure it will run with the K series.
Made the effort whilst we had a bit of sunshine to get the front brake lines on, all fitted and the front drivers side carrier was changed as the previous one somebody had stripped the thread out of the lower bolt hole. I do plan on giving all the arms a freshen up and a lick of paint aswell as the calipers in the near future too this is just so that I can get it roadworthy for now and iron out any of other potential issues.

Ordered a black dash a while back and had a problem with the courier picking it up on the date that was booked, finally it arrived long overdue. Havent opened it yet actually because its in storage and I didnt want to have to repack it

Had an issue with the car not idling properly again and presumed it was the coolant, thought it needed to be bled. Turns out the IACV was giving me a headache again so I took it off and gave it a major going over and now (touch wood) it works fine, problem solved! With that being said I did have a leak from the lower rad hose which has been sorted now and the car runs and drives under its own power, at least up and down the drive, but none the less it works

Im waiting on a front and rear SiR prefacelift bumper and SiR front lip to arrive atm so the facelift front end may be for sale, unsure on if I want to sell the bonnet unless someone offers me the right amount. Potentially sourced an SiR prefacelift front grille to, plan is to basically build my own spin on an SiR with a K20 and then have it fully resprayed in a different colour. I know what colour I want I just need a rough price, although it wont be until possibly next year. For now it will be MOT'd and then mapped so I can bring it out for the summer and to Japfest, mimms etc. Hope everyone is well and hard at work ready for show season
