Going to order these.
Just making sure I have right size etc for my 15" rpf1 reps and if that's a good price ?

What's the width of your wheels?

Personally I think ad08s are expensive for what they are when you can get rsr's for £53 a corner and ns2r's were fairly cheap too. They don't seem to last long either.

Depends how much clearance you have on the rear arches as to weather the 205's would fit, especially with a 8j rim.
What size tyre did you run before on those rims?

The amount of stories about the rsr's falling apart puts me off them

This happened to my RSR's I then bought ADo8's wouldn't buy any thing else for the road and the od track day.
 
I had a used set of RSRs start to open up on me one trackday. Didn't notice till I took the wheels off.
I like ad08s personally, wanted to try the ns2rs for quite a while but never got round to it.
Ado8 are the safe choice tbh, you know they are decent but you pay abit extra for that.
 
Was running 195/50 r15 8j with no clearance issues.
Where is best place to order ad08r online?
 
I wouldn't skimp on those rsr tyres that fall to bits.
AD08 are great!
 
Rsr's dont fall to bits. they crack a little on the mould but it doesnt effect the performance and they end up kinda moulding back together anyway.

A few people have heard horror stories and now everyone thinks they're awful.

after seeing the state of ad08s after a few laps of croft I wouldnt waste a penny on them over RSRs, but I like value for money and dont really listen to bandwagon comments :D
 
As mentioned you can't compare the likes of Yokohama to Nankang or Federal unless you are really just trying to save money

I ran the new AD08-R compound on my Skyline track car and was really impressed with them, definitely an improvement over the original AD08 compound and if they had the stiff sidewalls they wouldn't be far off A048 for grip. The wear rate wasn't bad at all either

A guy in the local saloon series ran the AD08-R on a very wet day on his CTR and got the fastest qualifying lap in the series

If you haven't tried the AD08-r.. I would recommend you to try them, the car you mention that destroyed the same tyres must have had them either over inflated, bad alignment, or they must have simply been pushing the tyres beyond their limit

I ran them on my 330BHP R32 skyline track car and after a few track days all the tyres where in great shape, I was pushing the car too... we have also ran the original ad08's on the Hondas and they have also lasted well over a load of trackdays with no uneven wear
 
One thing I liked about the RSRs, the feel through the steering wheel.
Unlike any tyre I'd ever used before, even with the PAS system I could tell exactly where the limit of grip was!
Not proper semi slick grip levels but I would take them over say R1R and other road tyres. ad08 are just better tyres than RSR IMO

Any good website online where I can get them delivered to ni ?
 
Should try camskill, mytyres or camskill for delivery to N.I that's who I usually use :nice:.
 
Jjc race and rally have been beating camskill for me the last few times I've bought tyres.
Next day delivery usually aswell(maybe not for you)
