Been concidering this for a while, always thought AE86's were mega cool and proper drivers cars. Plus Im a Big Fan on Initial D :p. But prefer the Levins.

When it comes to old school jap drivers Cars one of these will always pop into my head first. Im planning to get rid of my pulsar as at the end of the day although they are pritty cool they just don't cut it when it comes to driver thrills, they may go like stink but in reality they are a failed attempt of a rally car, have the aerodinamics and handling of a Brick! The plan was to buy an EK9 as a keeper road car but as I will have my EG6 I want another RWD instead. Have been thinking of S2000 or 200SX aswell, Just can't decide.

Anyone else ever branched out and swaped for or even owned one over the years??

What are people's thought's on them?

Iv owned a ae86 beautiful cars honestly, it's more of a weekend car, s2000 very fun cars you can do so much to them cars and they take it, it depends on what you want, power or practicality

Had this beut in for mapping recently, I wouldn't have been a great fan of these in the past but after getting a good look around this one i've come around to liking them:p

They hold the most "scene" tax of any car I know of buy they are awesome to have fun in, (not so much to drive)! Alot of them are rotten though (rear pockets especially) and will all have gone through several engines/gearbox's and diff's. Getting parts for them too is a bit of a mare if you do accidentally smeg it, went with a mate to get different stuff and he handed over a kings ransom for near 30 year old seats, shelf and dash! :nono: Best thing i can suggest to you is to get on the owners forums (loads in ireland) and start checking out a few of the cars on them, good chance it has a few previous owners who can spread more light on the history and maintenance of it.
