Hi guys

I can't find the thread I am looking for, so here goes.
I am looking to buy a suede aftermarket steering wheel but I haven't decided which one yet, what parts do I need?
Do I need a boss kit? If so anyone reccomend a particular one?
What about a quick release kit?
Is there anything else I need to think about?
I am a total noob with this so someone please guide me in the right direction?

Thanks

You would pick a steering wheel; nardi, personel, sparco etc etc

then buy a boss that suits what wheel you have bought and car type.

Then if you want to pretend you are a jap racing hero purchase a snap of boss that IIRC matches up to your boss and steering wheel choice. NRG snap off is what I have and fits my nardi wheel.

Something like this:

Wow, thanks, it's for a EK9 type r.
My hot fave is a momo suede one, but I'm not sure whether or not to go for a quick release or if it's even compatible.

Also, do you have an airbag or is deactivated? Does it effect the insurance dramatically?

Yeah man the NRG should be compatible with a MOMO boss, im sure that is what I have on my car, however hopefully someone else posts to clarify haha.

Airbag is gone, I cut all the wires in my car with scissors haha so the light is still on.

Insurance can only be answered by phoning up and asking im afraid.

I have a momo dished wheel with snap off kit - but it's for extra security rather than pretending I'm a racer lol
