Hi all im new to this by the way.
I am thinking of gettin an EK9 later this year. By then I will hopefully have 1 years ncb and 1 years driving expeircence and im 18. Am i dreaming of getting insurance on an ek9? I know its going to be high lol thanks
 
It may be too high mate, best bet is to shop around, if not wait till your 20ish ;)
 
You'll be lucky, to get insured.
There is a guy from Ireland that got insured on his Dads policy for 1400
All I can say is shop around

Unless you have a money tree in your back garden, you will not be able to afford to insure this car.
 
no chance i doubt, i'm 19 with 2 years no claims driving a EK4 VTI-S 1.6 VTEC DOHC and the insurance is £2100 a year falling under insurance group 15.

Let me know if you have anyluck i fancy 1 aswell :p

i was 18 when i got my ek9 and it was £2457.37with 3 point but i got 6points now so it had to go because it was like 3500 lol i was with swinton :)
 
i was 19 when i had my ek9 and i payed £1300 third party only. when i was 18 i payed 700 for a ek4 vti third party only
 
you can get insured on a 9 at 18 but it will be very hard tho you will have to ring alot of insurances companys lol im 18 and i couldn get insured in my 9 the only way was either pay 2000 euro under my sisters name or drive it under my own insurance because i have open drive
 
kris knott are now not insuring under 25 year olds phoned em a few weeks ago
 
get your parents to put it under their name youll pay like 41 a month plus tax! hopefully they have good credit.
 
im 19 and got my 9 last year and got insurance no prob with anybody only prob as alok of folk are saying is it will cost you, but if its the car u want go for it dude :nice:
 
im 20 in a couple of days just got a Quote on an Ek9 for £1000!!

not bad!!!
 
insure it as a 3dr sport..
technically if ya get a bang( TOUCH WOOD) all u have to say is i dnt no wat de diff is i work as electrican etc..

id only do dat do if ya got it an couldn get insured..
im 20 wit full an 2 yr no claims an pay 2200 on my 9 wit axa man..
