Angel-Works Technologies & Solid-fabrications Turbo RHD s2000 collaboration

a stock s2000 engine has shown that it can handle 400hp all day long,
dropping the compression and headstuds will make it safe for 500hp.

I forget every other place in the world has good gasoline while we have 91octane piss water here in California, we would never be able to make 400whp on a stock s2000 without dropping compression, not with 91octane fuel at least...

i know good fab work when i see it, thats a top class job guys. i send my props.

Guys, I just thought I would sign up to simply warn you folkes that taking your pride and joy to Angel Works will end in tears and heartache. The owner of this company (Ben Rushworth) has been ripping off Clio Sport owners and 4AGE as well as countless others for years now with sub standard parts and work carried out to a pathetically poor standard.
If this current S2000 project is ever finished I'll bet money it doesn't make claimed power and will almost certainly blow to bits in spectacular fashion.
I'm talking from experience having used them before and being left with an unfinished car with parts missing, parts damaged, lied to over what was fitted (was told it was one thing and a cheaper part was instead installed) and then due to poor fitting the bottom end then went bang.
I'm not the only one, they have had 2 cars in there for over a year and a half and one was for a simple throttle body install and the other was a K4M 1.6 engine with custom long inlets... neither finished, although one was on the road, before the cheap and nasty VEMS ECU failed (non e-marked so not even road legal) and it's been off even since.
Then there is a certain F7R build that took around 3 years to produce the same power cars with breathing mods have managed to achieve for years... this is also off the road being rebuilt after the owner spent £9500 (or $18'000USD) to have the engine rebuilt with forged HC internals, cams fitted, stand alone management (again VEMS which failed) and some pulleys previously sold to another customer. They talk a good technical game, but when push comes to shove they just over charge, lie, deviate from the original path and basically let customers pay for any development work. Believe me, if it wasn't for the owners daddy bailing him out he'd have been out of business a LONG time ago. Anyone foolish enough to go there be warned, you will be left with a large bill and little to nothing to show for it.

I can provide some links later too if required, as I dont simply want to look like I'm just saying these things for the sakes of it. They prey on people who put trust in them to do work they cant do themselves... then they exploit the fact.

I too however would LOVE to hear a response from Ben, however anytime he's ever challenged he just leaves and waits for the dust to settle and people to forget, so unless Trung does it for him don't hold your breath. A lot of people haven't publicly said anything either, mainly as they are still waiting on AWT for parts and things to be finished! They are reasonably good at hiding their tracks, which also reminds me of Ben_P's car from Clio Sport and Adrian's Cup race car... the list just goes on and on... :(

Yer dont meen to sound like a twat but have u got any proof ? If so thanks for warning us allways good to know what the crack is.

Coz you could just be an unhappy customer or old employe. How did you know also that they post on here ???

Those Welds just made me WET

Thats Very impressive work! cant wait to see more :nice:

Also in response to "truth" no offense meant but seriously 400bhp is not an unrealistic figure for a Turbined S2000

Oh yes I do :) And lots of it

This is the lass who spent £9500 on her car only for it to be undrivable, underpowered and now broken needing a rebuild

Clio16valver :: View topic - Quick FCS question

Here's another customer called BenP who sold the car back to Ben to pay for exponential rising costs. Look at start and end dates too ;)

ClioSport

Here's him selling off the rest of it

ClioSport

Again, look at start and end dates... still not finished, this chap wont say anything either as his car is still unfinished... he's still hopeful as is his friend who's 172 Cup is still there

ClioSport
&
ClioSport

And another... notice other people defending him who had 'JUST' taken their cars there at the time... these are STILL on-going. Oh, this car also had the sump broken and a new one badly fitted where the oilways had been partially blocked... it was obviously starved of oil and then it went bang.

ClioSport

This is what I have got in just 10 minutes, if you want I can get the one where the following cars are ruined:

Clio Cup race car
Toyota 4AGE 86
Renault Racing Spyder
and more still...

As for the 400bhp I'm not doubting it at all fella, if someone else has done the work they are only happy to replicate it, which bring me onto the point that they also took AT Power's (ITB company) new ITB design for the Clio and posted it online claiming it as their own work, there's more threads on that. The one where they claim it as theirs, and the one where they are horrendously embarrassed and disappeared for months.

Believe me, ignore me... upto you guys, but you have been warned. I have other info that I wont be posting up on the open forum too, mainly out of respect for the victims.

Blinx, no worries. I'm sure the owner Ben will refute this, however he wont do it in public. It's easier to lie to just one person :secret:

amazing..............
you join this forum for the sole purpose of slating AWT????
judgin by your replies, you are obviously a BANNED member of cliosport.
judging by your snide VEMS comments, you obviously are a brainwashed mindless minion.

as for your 'links' below,

the lass who spent her money on her car wasnt cos it was broken, but cos she wanted more power. and the £9500 was the amount she spent on her [3 donor cars=] whole car. Not just the engine which was replaced once 1.8L -> 2L, and then built with forged internals.

BenP sold off his project after spending £50,000 on it before it even came to us. he ran into money difficulties, and needed to free up some cash, hence the sell up.

i need not go on cos you got banned off cliospot for this exact reason, E-bitching, slander and just being a general nuisance.

as for the S2000 project, it shows how little you know about honda's, welding, and anything automotive.

Just been reading your manifold comparison testing on itrdc2, informative thread.

Well I'll assume that thats you posting on Trungs account Ben, nice to see you actually respond to something rather than bury your head in the sand (kind of).

Where to start... £9500 bill... why did it need 3 donor cars Ben, how many times did you blow it up? Don't want to be presumptuous but it is currently being rebuilt almost immediately after you had finished it. For the money, time spent and final result can you honestly say the customer had a good experience that was all worth it? Remind everyone just how long this was in the workshop again would you.

BenP was taken for a ride being promised a whole load and receiving nothing. He ended up buying ANOTHER engine that was then tuned all because it took literally YEARS to NOT finish. What were you thinking using ITB's with a plenum and a charger anyway? Expensive waste of time and good bodies
And he kept spending money on the car believing you may actually finish it.

Why has mini-valvers car not been finished, why did you let him drive home with a car only mapped to 4500rpm? In fact, now that I can actually use the mapping software and have a fair understanding, I cant work out why the car wasn't mapped for power first off and was running lean above 4500rpm. That's the quickest and most simple part of the map...

The thing all of these share(d) in common is that all are off the road, unfinished and have taken YEARS to not finish. Correct me if I'm wrong.

You are a chancer and a cowboy Ben, you manipulate people and dont deliver results or properly completed cars. The evidence is overwhelming, should I post up some customer emails, see you lie your way out of those? (think I'm bluffing, try me)

As for the S2000, I never commented on the work done, it looks very good. Whether you did it or not or copied it from I could care less. I'd be more concerned with the time scales and it being finished ever... like the ITB's you 'designed', or the charger kit that RStuning finished a month or so after getting the parts.

This isnt ben, it's Trung.
Ben couldnt be bothered to waste his time to even respond to your chilidish e-bitching, and now i can see why.

Truth you have made your point, it does appear you joined this forum for the sole purpose of talking about this topic and you have done so, i see no further reason for you to post on this forum unless your an Honda enthusiast and you'd like to browse some of the technical forums.

Back on topic, any updates on this car?

none as yet, because the owner missed the tuning dates when mase came over, he's gonna take his time till mase comes over again, sayin that the kit is still being worked on, not just as quick as before.

i'll post up updates when there is anything worth being posted
