Ya i have a b18c in an ek9.I had a b16b ek9 for a year and a half & got rid of it for a b18c ek9.All i can say is if u can afford it get the b18c.Its alot quicker,goes through the revs quicker,u have way more torque & it pulls way harder than the b16b.Thats just my opinion though.:nice:

They are designed and manufactured to be different, otherwise people would just save the money and but B18c stuff instead of the kits.

If you check all the stroker kits available for the B16b, you will see that they are all different in stroke.

YES they are mate .....the spoon B16B stroker kit consists of a jdm b18c crank, rods and pistons and a spoon head gasket do your home work mate lol :) ask about

LOL.

I mean, not ALL stroker kits are the B18c parts.

Spoon generally use OEM Honda parts and try to make them better.

I am not disputing the fact that Spoon may or may not use the B18c parts.

I am just saying that not every stroker kit is the same and not every stroker kit uses B18c parts.
 
well i dont have a EK9 but still its EK with B18C.I had a DA6 beffore with few bolt on's(toda,decat,full cat back tanabe) and when i droped 1.8 into the EK yu can fell big different in more torque
 
Would the 98spec integra b18c engine fit directly into the ek9 are the mounts, gearbox, shafts etc. the same? and is it the same wiring harness except different ecu?
 
Seriously, Almost all B16B stroker kits in japan consist of;
B18C crankshaft, rods and pistons. B18C parts are already fully balanced from factory. What would they need to further balance?

The B16B head is also exactly the same as B18C. I know this because it is the same part number.

It really is a destroked version with more reliability than the B18C.
 
well i have a 1.8 in my hatch its a lot more fun to drive then my friends b16 hatch tq. is a lot better and i dont know feels like it picks up speed quicker 2
 
how much money are you roughly lookin at by upgrading to the b18c. by the time you sell the b16b ???
 
not much more yu can pick up B18C(R) for same money that yu sell yours B16B maybe yu can sell yours for litlle bit more:nice:
