Anybody got a supercharged 9-ek?


I know what your saying mate but i cannot get rid she is a minter and she is deffo worth doing as its a fine example so need to sort something out and start saving lol il get something sorted just need some help along the way.
 
What others are telling you is true, if you dont have the money or the know how and time to be constantly once overing your boosted car then dont bother. Its rewarding, very rewarding infact. But nothing is for free.
 
Im going with a turbo build with hond r so looking for a low mileage c4 engine

I don't think your spoiling the EK9 lots of people have turbo'd them, anyway if you keep your b16 engine you can always swap it back!!
 
Sell your b16b, you'll not want to go back to NA anyway.
Preferable sell me the head. Now.

Yeah thats my plan will deffo keep the engine incase the worst happands and it go's tits up, within the next 2-3 months il try pick up a tidy running b18c4 with decent amount of miles and use that for the turbo, then go from there...

Nooo i will keep the 16b and all the mods incase anything happands i have allways got everything then lol

My opinion c4 turbo is the best for price reliability and power. Not unique it's been done to death, but you won't look back as long as it's been tuned properly.
Keep you're b16b even as a souvenir lol.

Not necessarily. I had a 400 bhp skyline, then a 260bhp vx220 turbo, then a 250bhp supercharged vx220 and now the na civic. Its no less fun, probably more!

Last I heard from Sam he was staying NA and looking at doing a lots of trackdays instead.
Probably a wise move tbh. The mo EU I out into mine I could have done probably 10-15trackdays lol
